Titanium Supergrade HT is an alloy-reinforced epoxy paste specifically formulated for high temperature pipe surface damage repair and corrosion protection in applications exposed to heat up to 250°C.

It is effective on pipes made of all metals and most plastics. When spread over areas of damage caused by corrosion and pitting, it fills imperfections to restore the surface profile of pipework.

Titanium Supergrade HT provides excellent protection against corrosion and chemical attack. It contains corrosion-resistant metal platelets which give the paste a smooth finish and a light consistency, making it easier to mix. It is virtually odourless and it is thixotropic so will not sag.

Applying Titanium Supergrade HT to pipework also improves adhesion between the surface of the pipe and a composite repair wrap like SylWrap HD, increasing the effectiveness of the protective layer.

A work time of three hours makes Titanium Supergrade HT suitable for even the most complex of applications. More of the epoxy paste can be mixed in one go without the threat of premature curing and used for greater coverage over significant areas of damage. How to repair and protect pipework using Titanium Supergrade HT

Before the application of Titanium Supergrade High Temperature Pipe Repair Epoxy Paste, surfaces should be free of paint, rust and grime. Pipework should also be roughened up through either grit blasting or grinding with a coarse wheel or abrasive disk pad.

Titanium Supergrade HT should be applied as soon as possible after the preparation procedure is completed. Part A and Part B are mixed together in the instructed ratio.

A putty knife is used to spread the epoxy paste over the area requiring repair, pressing it firmly into the pipework to ensure maximum surface contact and avoid trapping air.

When applying a SylWrap HD Pipe Repair Bandage over Titanium Supergrade HT, the composite wrap should be added immediately, providing a rock-hard, impact resistant layer to the initial repair made with the epoxy paste.

To achieve maximum temperature resistance, Titanium HT Supergrade should undergo post-curing. Please consult the Technical Data Sheet for information.
