Stage 1 of the Sylmasta Pipe Refurbishment System
Sylmasta Leak Sealant products repair holes and cracks in burst and leaking pipes, forming the first stage of the Sylmasta Pipe Refurbishment System.
Repairs can be made which are pressure resistant to 30 bar and effective on pipes of all diameters made from steel, copper, plastics, malleable iron, GRP, ceramic, clay, concrete, rubber, and lead.
Where pressure cannot be turned off, Wrap & Seal Pipe Burst Tape is wrapped around pipework, fusing into a solid silicone rubber band which seals live leaks.
For live leaks on pipes in excess of 150mm diameter, SylPad Pressure Resistance Multiplier is used in conjunction with Wrap & Seal to increase the pressure resistance of the Tape.
When flow can be isolated, 114g Superfast Epoxy Putty Sticks make fast repairs to small holes and cracks in offline pipes. Different formulations are manufactured for specific pipe substrates with most Superfast Sticks having a work time of five minutes or less.
Sylmasta AB Original Epoxy Putty comes with a two-hour work time, enabling greater quantities of putty to be mixed and more careful application without the threat of premature of curing.
AB Original is used in more complex, larger applications. It is supplied in either a ready-to-mix 200g stick or as a two-part epoxy with separate components of resin and hardener up to 50kg, which require measuring before mixing.
Sylmasta AB Rapid 5 Minute takes the fast work time of a Superfast Epoxy Putty Stick and combines it with the two-part format of AB Original.
Wrap & Seal, Superfast Steel, Superfast Aqua PW and Superfast Copper have WRAS approval, meaning they are certified to British standards as safe for use on pipes carrying drinking water.
Select Your Leak Sealant
Wrap & Seal is a WRAS approved waterproof pipe repair tape made from self-fusing silicone. It is used as a leak sealant when flow cannot be turned off, stretching by 300% as it is wrapped around pipework to form a solid rubber band over the leak area.

SylPad Pressure Resistance Multiplier
SylPad is used with Wrap & Seal when making live leak repairs to holes up to 20mm on pipework in excess of 150mm diameter. It better concentrates the elastic force of the tape directly over the leak, multiplying pressure resistance by up to three times.

Superfast Steel Epoxy Putty Stick
Superfast Steel is a WRAS approved, steel-filled epoxy putty in an easy-to-use, pre-formatted 114g stick. It has a quick work time for sealing smaller holes and cracks in industrial pipework when pressure can be turned off.

Superfast Aqua Potable Water Epoxy Putty Stick
Superfast Aqua Potable Water is a WRAS approved epoxy putty in an easy-to-use, pre-formatted 114g stick. It has a fast work time and a specialist formulation enabling very high wet surface adhesion for sealing leaks and cracks in underwater pipework.

Superfast Titanium Epoxy Putty Stick
Superfast Titanium is a titanium-filled epoxy putty specifically formulated for sealing leaks and cracks on high temperature pipework up to 280ºC, including steam pipes and tanks. It comes in an easy-to-use, pre-formatted 114g stick.

Superfast Copper Epoxy Putty Stick
Superfast Copper is a WRAS approved, copper-filled epoxy putty in an easy-to-use, pre-formatted 114g stick. It has a quick work time for sealing holes and cracks in domestic pipework and smaller industrial non-ferrous pipes when pressure can be turned off.

Superfast Plastic Epoxy Putty Stick
Superfast Plastic is a plastic-filled epoxy putty in an easy-to-use, pre-formatted 114g stick. It seals cracks, holes and leaking joints where pressure can be turned off in domestic and industrial plastic pipework, including PVC and ABS.

Sylmasta AB Original Epoxy Putty
AB Original is a ceramic filled, super-strength putty with a two-hour work time, allowing more putty to be mixed and applied when sealing larger cracks. It has high chemical resistance, bonds underwater and is available in stick and two-part formats.
